ConductABILITY

Conductive Education of Northwest Arkansas

ConductABILITY has been bringing increased independence for children with motor challenges since 2001 through Conductive Education. We have often been regarded as the "last resort" by many parents who have been searching for something more, something that deals with their children as whole human beings, something that focuses on what they can do instead of what others think they cannot.

Conductive Education is a unique program that promotes confidence and self-esteem which results in positive life changes and lays the groundwork for the problem solving skills that are needed to face life's future obstacles. Our physically intensive sessions target increased muscle strength as well as social skills, toileting, as well as other liberating, confidence building exercises.

We offer year round classes for children ages 6 months through preschool. For our school age children, we offer an afternoon class during the school year and all day classes in our summer camp. Preschool children who are current Arkansas Medicaid cardholders may receive services at no cost to the family. Scholarships may be available.
ConductABILITY seeks to provide a system that focuses on the child's ability, not disability. Our goal is to educate children with motor disorders to enable them to reach their highest potential of independence and integration into society.
